Some shellac nail art.
View Larger New shellac! Used Shellac in “Studio White” (had to do 3 coats instead of two, its a much sheerer white than cream puff). After curing I put the multi colored spot in Gelish “Shake it til you Samba”, “Ooba Ooba Blue” and Shellac in “Hotski to Tchochke”. Then did the spot accents in Shellac “Black Pool”. Very fun! I can’t stop looking at them!

my shellac swatches: Studio White,Moonlight and Roses,Black Pool,Asphalt,Purple Purple, Hotski to Tchochke,Iced Cappucino.
View Larger For better nail health I am going to try to do the shellac 2 week challenge. No matter how much I really want to, I’m not touching this manicure for 2 weeks! This is CND’s Shellac in “Hotski to Tchotchke” and I would describe it as a ultra shiny and shimmery emerald-ish green inside, outside and in pictures it looks a bit more…light and kind of frosty? I don’t know. CND like to make these colors that change in different lighting and I ADORE that. I should swatch “Purple Purple” one of these days. It’s a dark-ish purple shimmery color inside but outside its this vibrant cobalt blue! So pretty. Anywho I am rambling. Hope you like it!
View Larger Recently my index fingernail broke literally in HALF. It was so horrible (and painful). It is still there but luckily good old acrylic is hard and sturdy enough to keep it attached to (whats left of) my nail. Can you tell?
View Larger I did a full set and some shellac on a friend today! I just love the rose design! For a tutorial, check this out!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpTskoTf1SY
View Larger Girly nails! Shellac in strawberry smoothie, which a layer of romantique on top. then I stamped it with the konad system. I’m starting to really appreciate a good nude color. I’ve been wearing such crazy stuff on my nails lately that it feels nice to sort of…relax with a nice creamy light pink.
View Larger (Sorry for the blurry pic!) Same as below, but with Shellac in asphalt and teal glitter!
View Larger Black and gold glitter gel polish. the black is Shellac in black pool. How I did the gold glitter: put the shellac base coat on and cured it, kept the sticky layer and pressed the gold glitter in to it. then put on a layer on top coat and another layer of glitter. repeated until the nail was completely covered, then put top coat.
